We learn so slow if we learn at all,

Can we ever make things right?
Your sitting in the darkness,
Just waiting for the sun to rise.
Yeah, good luck with that.
Most of these vampires will never see the light.
But we've gotta do something drastic soon,
cause it's coming down to that fight or flight,
And I'm not gunna run from it baby.
We can do it if we have to we can make it right.
And I think we have to if we want the human species to survive,
We need to reestablish symbiotic balance with the environment to truly thrive,
We can do anything we put our minds too.

We just put our minds to all the wrong things,
Narcissistic motivations, corrupting everything,
Most of what you say is a contradiction,
Relative flatland, swollen ego, boomeritis addiction,
You value personal feelings over facts,
Denying other peoples knowledge,
You would rather create your own map,
You reinvent the wheel,
At this rate you'll never make it from green to teal,
Running from all friction,
You think that only you can judge what's real.
If we can't come together under some basic agreements to an agreed upon end,
Then we'll continue to live in chaos and we'll never transcend,
If it's our goal to include and come together,
then we need to understand development to overcome our oppressors.

We fall, we learn, we love, we rise,
We learn to make it better all in good time,
We rise.
